Cemetery
Shaar Shalom Cemetery
The Shaar Shalom Synagogue owns and operates its own cemetery in accordance with Conservative Judaism. The cemetery is located in Halifax on Connaught Avenue just below the corner of Windsor Street. Visits are welcomed and can be arranged by contacting our office.
The cemetery operates in conjunction with the Shaar Shalom Congregation. The Shaar Shalom has an active Chevra Kadisha Bereavement counselling is available through the Simon L. Gaum Bereavement Centre.
