Board of Trustees Of SHAAR SHALOM CONGREGATION
(as specified in the Articles of Association)

The affairs of the Congregation are administered by a Board of Trustees consisting of the President, Vice-President Operations, Vice-President Development, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, Treasurer, the Immediate Past President, Honourary Vice-President, a representative of the Yarmouth Synagogue, plus twelve other members. The spiritual leaders of the Congregation shall be non-voting ex-officio members of the Board.

Parliamentary procedure  governs the conduct of the meetings of the Board of Trustees and all meetings of the Congregation.  All members of the Board of Trustees  have a vote at all meetings of the Board, except as provided as follows: in the event of an equal vote at any Board or general meeting, the President or whoever  presides may cast a deciding vote.
